What is CatchVault?
CatchVault is an AI-powered fishing app that lets you identify fish species, measure catches with LiDAR, log every detail of your trip, and compete on leaderboards.
Is CatchVault free?
Yes! CatchVault is free to download on the App Store. Some premium features may be available in the future.
What devices are supported?
CatchVault is available on iPhones running iOS 16 and above. LiDAR measurement requires an iPhone with a LiDAR sensor (iPhone 12 Pro and newer Pro models).
How does AI species identification work?
Simply take a photo of your catch and our computer vision model will identify the species in seconds. It works with hundreds of freshwater and saltwater fish.
How does LiDAR measurement work?
Point your iPhone at your catch and CatchVault uses the built-in LiDAR sensor to measure the fish length instantly — no tape measure needed.
How do I appear on the leaderboards?
Log a catch with a valid measurement and it will automatically be ranked on the species leaderboard. The leaderboards are sorted by length.
